PRIDE ALLEY CAT
Dose of Durham's Pride edition featured locations from the Pride Alleycat organized by myself and a few friends in the community: An informal, entry-level bicycle adventure based on the “alley cat” style of bike races popularized by bike messengers and couriers. Participants were given a manifest at the beginning of the event containing clues about Durham’s queer community and history that guided them to secret locations to complete tasks - the first teams to finish won prizes provided by Bike Durham and the registration fees were be donated to the LGBTQ Center of Durham.
