All of my pricing ensures that I am able to earn a livable wage for my work ($30/hour). While time and material costs are important, you are also paying for my expertise and talent. Rates also depend on the amount of research I do for a project, how many revisions are needed, deadlines, complexity, etc.
Here are some ballpark examples of rates I have charged for projects in the recent years:
Graduation Photoshoot: $300
1 hour on-site shoot, ~50 edited photos
Zine Creation: $300-700
10-20 hours, research-heavy, includes layout, design, and intricate illustration work
Promo Video Production: $530
3-hour video/photo session, 10-15 hours of editing and revisions
One-Time Flyer Design: $75
1-3 hours creating an editable flyer template
Workshop Instruction: $350
2 hours of workshop instruction for groups of 15-20 people, including providing materials
